A lion at country park Masai Mara in Kenya has a permanently surprised look after getting in to a ferocious battle. The majestic big cat lost his eyelid in a territorial battle with his brothers in 2012.

A lion at a country park in Kenya looks permanently surprised after getting into a ferocious battle.

The majestic big cat lost his eyelid in a territorial battle with his brothers in 2012 and has been left with a scarred eye.

Nicknamed Scar after Disney's Lion King character by the locals, his scar, shaggy mane, large teeth and blood-tinged beard, come together to give him the look of an evil warrior.
