Skydio’s AI-powered autonomous R1 drone follows you around in 4K
Skydio’s R1 drone can be flown without expertise and doesn’t even come with a controller. It uses artificial intelligence, specifically computer vision algorithms, to identify its surroundings, avoid obstacles, and follow its subjects with 4K video recording. The device goes on sale today for $2,499 and it ships in a few weeks.
