Man City agree £50m fee with Tottenham for Kyle Walker

Manchester City and Tottenham have reached agreement on the sale of Kyle Walker over a fee worth £50million. City are understood to have offered £45million plus a further £5m in add-ons.

City are understood to have offered £45million plus a further £5m in add-ons for the England international.

Manager Pep Guardiola is pushing for City to sign at least three new full-backs, particularly in light of their disappointment over Dani Alves opting for Paris St Germain.

Walker has long been their No 1 target but as Sportsmail revealed the clubs were locked at £10m apart last month with City only prepared to offer up to £40m.

Talks have intensified in recent days and have now find a solution to equal the world record fee paid for a defender.

City are also continuing talks with Monaco over a similar priced fee for Benjamin Mendy and are running parallel talks with Southampton as they push for £30m-rated Ryan Bertrand.
