Good Morning Britain viewers have called for Jeremy Kyle to QUIT as presenter after he dressed up as Jon Snow from Game Of Thrones.

The king of The Jeremy Kyle Show transformed into the 'King in the North' with the help of a bizarre fashion accessory.

Jezza modelled the cape, which strangely started off as a fluffy Ikea rug, as he role-played Kit Harrington's character from the HBO fantasy drama.

But the stand-in host, who has been covering for Piers Morgan while he enjoys a holiday, has been slammed by viewers who claim they are switching over to BBC Breakfast.

The comfy accessory was made from a fluffy Ikea rug

Showbiz reporter Richard Arnold brought in the remodelled rug and draped it over Jeremy.

Richard said: "Now you can go that extra step and bag some got costumes from that flat packed favourite Ikea.

"Here's a little something we made earlier. Ikea staff have been modelling it was well as our very own Jeremy."

Kate Garraway stroked the cape and admitted she wanted to steal it to give her husband for his birthday.

A snug looking Jezza asked why he was wearing it and complained he was sweating.

Richard added: "Ok role play at ten to seven on Good Morning Britain, this is a first even for this slot."

GMB viewers took to Twitter to call for Jeremy to step down as presenter.

One viewer said: "If he's going to be on often I'll continue to watch BBC Breakfast instead. Piers I can handle but not Jezza Kyle. I'm not alone. Sorry."

Another added: "@GMB please make Jeremy Kyle stop - it's exhausting #GMB #headache #toomuch"

A third said: "I last about 60 seconds then I turn channel over again, he's too much at this time for me Jeremy Kyle. #GMB"

Jeremy looked very cosy

Jeremy is probably always worried about being attacked on TV - but wouldn't have expected it to come during his presenting stint on Good Morning Britain.

The stand-in host was repeatedly whacked by a giant hedgehog earlier today in a brutal ordeal.

Jezza didn't take his beating well and called out for Security Steve, who is frequently forced to step in on The Jeremy Kyle Show.

His bodyguard was nowhere to be seen, but luckily for Jeremy the hedgehog stormed out in a rage.

Hero the Hedgehog is actually the official mascot of the World Athletics Championships and rose to fame after taking a dip in the steeplchase pool.

During his appearance on GMB, the cute critter started to groom Kate Garraway's hair.

The presenter said: "It's a great mascot. I'm getting annoyed with him now, I'm getting too much attention. Can you go now."

The hedgehog started to cause chaos in the studio

The hedgehog then started to whack Jeremy with a rolled up newspaper.

An annoyed Jeremy said: "Excuse me, in the words of another programme, get off my stage, go, now. Steve get him off here."

Steve failed to appear, he was probably in the Jeremy Kyle studio, but the hedgehog walked out of the studio anyway.

Kate said: "He's a bit of a silent assassin isn't he."

Charlotte Hawkins then told Jeremy it was his fault for annoying Hero, who came back later in the show.

The hedgehog then attacked former British sprinter Iwan Thomas by throwing pillows at him.

Jeremy said: "It's like the worst behaved thing we've ever had in this studio."
