Amal and George Clooney enjoy a game of tennis in Italy

The barrister, 39, showed off her impressive post-baby body just two months after giving birth in a yellow pleated skirt as she joined her actor husband, 56, for another sports workout in Italy.

They are currently enjoying their first holiday with their newborn twins, who arrived back in June.

But Amal and George Clooney still made time for their favorite pastime - tennis - amid their parenting duties on Monday, as they were spotted heading for a quick game in Lake Como.

The barrister, 39, showed off her impressive post-baby body just two months after giving birth in a yellow pleated skirt as she joined her actor husband, 56, for another sports workout in the stunning Italian hot spot.

Amal, who wed the Hollywood actor in 2014, showed off her impressively slender frame as she embarked on a game with her husband - just eleven weeks after welcoming their twins Ella and Alexander. 

The brunette slipped into a simple white vest and short yellow pleated skirt, which displayed her enviably leggy figure to all. 

Certainly looking the part for her afternoon of sport, she tied her look together with white plimsoll trainers and a black visor - which rested atop a stylish side braid.

Opting to go make-up free for the outing, Amal left her enviably clear and glowing complexion on show, which showed no signs of fatigue from life with newborns. 

Amal was spotted heading to the tennis court with her husband George, who kept equally casual in a navy polo shirt and pale blue shorts.

Adding trendy Adidas trainers and sporting a thick strip of stubble, the Syriana star appeared completely relaxed as he enjoyed another day in Lake Como - where he has owned a home for several years.

The trip marks their first ever family holiday, and the group have been spotted enjoying a number of dinners by the water.

Amal's mother also joined them for the getaway - having recently gushed of her newborn grandchildren to People magazine.

Reflecting on the birth, she said excitedly: 'Seeing these two angels, these stunningly beautiful babies cuddled together...

'And seeing the joy on Amal and George's faces, it's one of those deeply felt beautiful feelings you can't express in words.'

Amal is understood to have given birth at a London hospital with her husband by her side on June 6.

Their statement announcing the news at the time read: 'Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine,' before joking: 'George is sedated and should recover in a few days.'

However the family trip to Lake Como comes amid reports the family may be moving out of their stunning £20 million property in Sonning-On-Thames, Berkshire.

Following the birth of their children, the star has been increasingly worried about the level of security in their homes, according to Life&Style.

A source told the publication that George had received threats in the past, whilst he was concerned that his wife's work as an international human rights lawyer could make her a target.

'He doesn't feel like Amal and the twins are safe living in the English countryside,' the insider explained.

'As soon as Amal found out she was pregnant, he hired former Secret Service agents to assess all his properties and make recommendations for improvement.'

They claimed the star's mansion in Studio City, California was the most secure, as they added: 'He's waited so long for this family, he'll do whatever it takes to keep them safe.'

George wed Amal in 2014, and bought their sprawling £7.5 million home in the English countryside later that year.
