The publication stated: 'He told his friends Zoe had been fantastic throughout the birth yesterday and said that their little boy was happy and healthy... Brendan has text his family and friends to inform them of the happy news.'
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Brendan for comment.
Brendan had married model Zoe back in 2010, with the pair welcoming their first child, Aurelia, two years later.
They had announced they were expecting another baby in September following a trip away to Mallorca, where the couple own a holiday home.

Sharing their exciting news via Instagram, Brendan had shared a Boomerang clip of his wife clutching onto her baby bump, while Zoe shared a sweet photo of the pair to her own page.
Pointing at her stomach, Zoe was flanked by Brendan, who appeared to be pulling a funny face alongside her, and penned: 'Yes it's true! Came back from Mallorca recently with a little excess baggage!'
She drew further laughs by adding the hashtags: '#whathavewedone #babyonboard #excitedandscared #parents #ourfamily #morejunkinthetrunk'.

Insiders told MailOnline: 'Fiery Brendan was sacked after 13 years and 15 series on the show for creating negative press and for his on-air outbursts.'
But the television star showed his emotional side as he broke down in tears while discussing his sacking during an interview on Lorraine on rival channel ITV.
He said: 'This is hard to talk about. The BBC haven’t renewed my contract. They have made an editorial decision not to have me back on the show.
'I have had 15 incredible series on the show, they are a great team. I am very disappointed. It’s an editorial decision. I will never know the ins and outs.'
The former Strictly star went onto tell Daily Mail exclusively how not returning to the dancing show was like 'not being invited to the party'.
Last week: Just a week ago, Zoe showed she was prepared for baby number two as she took to the microblogging site to share a snap of a number of baby treats
‘I’ve had pretty much every range of emotions over the last week from sadness to excitement. I love . . .’ He said, ‘I loved being a pro on Strictly.
'I loved the fact I was there from the beginning. One of the saddest bits is that it will go on and I won’t be a part of it. It’s like not being invited to the party. You know they’re having a good time and you want to be a part of it.’
The fiery personality famously rowed with new head judge Shirley Ballas during the latest series as well as Bruno Tonioli.
Before his relationship with Zoe, he was engaged to fellow dancer Camilla Dallerup, with whom he performed on Strictly's long-running predecessor Come Dancing.
However, their engagement ended after Brendan was partnered with Natasha Kaplinsky on the inaugural season of Strictly - which they won.
